BP's LPG supply helps logistics company become safer and greener

A European automotive logistics business has switched another of its UK sites from oil heating to LPG. The facility in North Somerset is used to restore and refurbish vehicles prior to transport and distribution around the UK.

The boilers used to heat the main shop floor have been changed to LPG as part of the businesses' strategy to reduce CO2 emissions and cut energy costs. The new LPG tanks were installed in December following site visits from the local BP Gas business manager. BP Gas advised on the size and location of the required installation and have subsequently helped the business bring their LPG health and safety policy up to date. They can now move forward as a greener safer business.
