Hospital improves safety with BP Gas

A Somerset based hospital has improved safety at one of its sites with the help of a BP Gas Engineer and Regional Business Manager.

The site which is off mains gas and uses LPG for heating, had installed temporary buildings close to an existing LPG vessel. This was spotted as a potential health and safety risk by a BP Gas engineer who was visiting the site as part of his annual inspection.

Following the advice of the Regional BP Gas Business Manager, the hospital is planning to re-locate the temporary buildings and also adjust the position of the LPG vessel so the site is safe. The hospital takes health & safety seriously and was grateful to BP Gas for improving safety at this site and helping prevent a potential future incident.
